At Orange Cross Ambulance, we recognize EMS providers as vital and equal contributors to our healthcare system. We are committed to compensating our career EMS professionals fairly for the critical work they perform daily. The salary scale below represents estimated annual earnings based on the 51s Schedule, totaling 2,652 annual work hours. Other scheduling options may apply to certain positions. Please note that the chart does not account for the additional value of our comprehensive Employee Total Rewards package, which includes Health and Dental Insurance, Healthiest You Program, 401k Match, Earned Time Off, Flex Perks, Special Incentives, Tuition Reimbursement, Uniform Allowances and more.

51s Schedule

Orange Cross Ambulance is committed to providing a predictable and balanced work environment. That’s why OCA has adopted the lifestyle-friendly 51s schedule, offering providers more nights at home, fewer overall workdays each month, and increased recovery time between shifts to support a healthier work-life balance.

(For example, if you’re attending scheduled classes through a Technical College or University, C-Shift might be ideal, as it guarantees days off every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If your priority is minimizing overall workdays, D or E Shifts could be a great fit, requiring only 10 workdays each month.)
