The two women killed in a head-on collision on state Highway 32 in the Town of Herman on Sunday afternoon have been identified by authorities.
Margaret Lange, 71, of Brillion, and Barbara Killey, 52, of Waukesha, were both killed in a crash on Highway 32 just north of Franklin Road in the Town of Herman about 4 p.m. Sunday, according to a press release from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
Lange’s husband, Dennis Lange, 70, was driving south on Highway 32 when his car and one driven by Robert Bock, 79, of Brillion, collided, killing both women.
Dennis Lange was taken by Orange Cross Ambulance to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. Bock was uninjured.
Authorities shut down Highway 32 in both directions between Willow and Franklin roads for hours while the Sheboygan County Crash Reconstruction Team investigated the incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is continuing.
The Sheriff’s Office, Ada Fire Department, Howards Grove First Responders and Jaws, Orange Cross Ambulance and the Sheboygan County Highway Department responded to the scene.
