A 10-year-old boy was not breathing when he was pulled from a hotel pool Sunday evening, but bystanders were able to resuscitate the boy using CPR.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched to the Sleep Inn on Motel Road in the Town of Wilson at 5:41 p.m. on Sunday for a child for who had been pulled from a swimming pool and was not breathing.
Bystanders pulled the 10-year-old boy from the bottom of the pool and initiated CPR, which allowed them to successfully resuscitate the child.
The child was transported to a St. Nicholas Hospital by Oostburg Ambulance. Assistance was also provided by Kohler Police Department, Town of Wilson First Responders and Orange Cross Ambulance.
The condition of the child is unknown at this time.
